Fredericksburg is a town in Posey Township, Washington County, Indiana, United States. The population was 85 at the 2010 census. The area was first settled in 1805 and the town was founded in 1815, and named after Frederick Royse, a founding father.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 92 people, 41 households, and 25 families residing in the town. The population density was 91.7 people per square mile (35.5/km²). There were 44 housing units at an average density of 43.9 per square mile (17.0/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.09% of the population.
There were 41 households out of which 29.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.9% were married couples living together, 12.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.6% were non-families. 31.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 2.77.
In the town the population was spread out with 21.7% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 34.8% from 25 to 44, 17.4% from 45 to 64, and 17.4% who were 65 years of age or older.
